Full-time Wisconsin students Randy LaPlant and Chris Musson are close to finishing their Heidi Skiff, the first quarter boat building project. Two teams of four each lofted and built this boat as an introduction to basic boat building. The second quarter boat project will be a 21 foot Nelson Zimmer designed utility launch that will be powered with an electric motor provided by the Elco Electric Launch Company of New York.
